Cat Aggressive Behavior
Overcoming Passive Aggressive Behavior
Sometimes the stress in life can feel overbearing, and it is hard to handle the problems that come our way because it can feel like too much to handle. If you don't deal with your problems one at a time, you can end up pushing them away or bottling them up inside yourself. As the problems increase and the other ones you have bottled up are not dealt with, the pressure increases and they can be taken out on other people. Passive aggressive behavior starts to occur when these problems are not sorted out and you begin to act out your frustrations on other people in ways which present angry behavior but behaviors which do not begin to solve the problems.
The first step to overcoming passive aggressive behavior is to find out where the anger inside of you is coming from and targeting it. Once you target this anger inside of you, you will then be able to ask yourself why you are angry about it. If you need to talk with someone about the anger you are feeling, you could talk to a therapist, or if you know that you need to speak with someone who you may be angry with, you can talk to them directly. Any way that you can find the source of your anger to deal with it is a good place to start if you find yourself being passive aggressive.
While you are on this soul search to find the source of your anger, you can also do a few things to stop passive aggressive behavior in it's tracks. If you find yourself being passive aggressive, try and be more open and honest with yourself in the moment to assess how you really feel. Certain people feel passive aggressive because they feel intimidated. If you are feeling intimidated sometimes that can lead to stress of which the source is hard to locate. If you are feeling stressed out because of a certain situation that isn't anyones fault and it is just stressful, take a moment to relax, breathe, and realize that. Once you realize that a certain situation feels stressful, you can stop putting blame on others who are not the cause of this stress and learn to relax.
Passive aggressive behavior can be overcome when you take the time to listen to what your mind is really trying to tell you by getting a handle on your stress and sorting out the problem at the source. This will help you to have more time for yourself because you will spend less time being angry and focusing your time on yourself rather than executing mindless activities that your anger is controlling.

Should I be concerned about my cats aggressive behavior?
I currently own two cats.
My male cat is about 2 years old and my female cat is around 9 months old. Both cats are fixed. Most of the time they are the best of friends!. They snuggle together and give each other baths.
Some times they become VERY aggressive towards each other. The male usually initiates it and they end up biting, hissing and growling. He stands over her and makes a strange clicking noise with his mouth.
Are they playing? should I be concerned about their behavior?. They are so cute when they snuggle!.
Thank you for your time, I appreciate it!.
They've been doing this ever since they met but it seems to have become worse since we spayed the female. I wasn't sure how old she was so she went into heat before I was able to get her fixed. The day she went into heat I ran her to a vet and got her spayed ASAP but ever since then their "fighting" has become more aggressive.

How can i stop my cats aggressive behavior?
My cat is nearly 3 years old and he can be a little aggressive (and annoying). At times he is very calm and likes to lay down next to people. Other days he runs around the house full speed like a psycho tripping people up, biting them on the ankles or wrist. If you are minding your business he'll come out of nowhere and swipe you multiple times on the head with his paw and when you yell at him he runs away and either comes back to do it again or digs his claws in the carpet instead of his scratching pad.
Whenever he does these things I check to see if he needs something like food, changing litter, etc. And 9/10 he doesn't need either. I also cut his claws regularly. And I always know when he wants to play because like a dog he ALWAYS brings his string and feather to me.
Can anyone give me successful tips to stop this behavior?
out of the 3 years I've had him he has only hissed once (my cousin bothered him). He never hisses.
And he was neutered the first year I got him as a kitten.

giving Bach's rescue remedy: water or straight?
I got some Bach's Rescue Remedy and put it in my cat's water. I don't see any difference in the cats (aggressive behavior). I'm thinkin that it's either not working or would be better if it wasn't so diluted and I gave it directly into the cat's mouths. What is your experience and what do you think?
It makes sense to me that if it's in a bowl of water it's....watered down.
By the way, I also have a feliway diffuser in the room.

cat aggressive behavior?
My sister has been visiting for 4 months now with her very laid-back cat. My cat has become so aggressive toward her cat that he runs to the bedroom for safety. We've tried everything except putting them in separate cages in the same room (neither cat is happy about their cages to begin with, her's is almost impossible to get in). I bought Feliway and sprayed my bedroom which seems to work. But the minute she comes out to the living area, she changes into this monster cat. Neither one is afraid to fight if cornered, but they both have been hurt once.
Will my cat ever adjust?
