Could there be other symptoms from the recalled pet foods besides those listed on the website?
It did say "some symptoms include'..... My cat got sick after eating recalled foods in Jan. The recall was not announced until weeks after I got rid of that food because he was placed on a prescription pet food? My cats symptoms were different but hid elevated kidney enzymes and was catherterized and got iv fluids and antibiotics.

my cat has been ill the past four days. Was thinking it might be contaminated food, except I feed her dry food
My cats symptoms are: Watery green vomit. Hasn't eaten in three days. The only fluid is what has been forced. Whinning alot. Stand-offish, unsociable. It would be highly appreciated if somebody can give me some advice on how to help my cat feel better.

please help, cat symptoms...?
i'm taking my cat to the vet tomorrow, but would like an idea if possible of what it might be. Two nights ago, first noticed "droopy" eyes. Kind of blinking alot, but no discharge. Two days ago, she stopped eating and drinking. Now, she only sleeps and eats little bits of food out of my hand (tuna). She walks really stiffly and fell over when she tried to jump on the chair. Has a fever, but no sneezing or runny nose. Very small intermitent eye discharge. I'm so sad and I can't pay the vet much. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? thank you....please email me if u need more info.

Cat Symptom?
My male cat has been sick for two days. The symptoms are sudden fever, his fur is all stands up (like whenever cats in distress). His eyes are yellowish and his saliva keeps dripping and smelly. I'm going to the vet soon...but what seems to be the problem with him? Please help..thank you. ty for the response. the vet said he has jaundice, even though he just got it, the symptoms shown are like he has it for more than two weeks. he has been hospitalized and dripped starting today . will he be okay being dripped with only saline water? how about food..what kind of food is good to feed him (solid/liquid)? .

My Vet says my cat has Calicivirus. Please explain?
My vet says my cat has Calicivirus. I told her my cat has bad breath, very red gums & she occasionaly sneezes. I adopted her from a humane society 3 months ago. They said she's about between 4 to 5 years old. My vet said it's almost like a kitty herpes, but it's not and she said she'll keep a watch out for her. I am concerned as I don't know much about this a read a few articles, but still confused. I massage her gums almost daily and give her Feline Greenies for cats. I see some results with that. Does anyone out there at Yahoo have the same cat symptoms? Need some good answers Thanks a lot Yahoo Answers ( :
