Dogs Behavioral Problems

Adopted dog behavioral problem. Help!!?
I have just recently adopted a FemaleJRT/Wire Haired Terrier. I am having some problems. I also have a 7 yr old that is wonderful. She isn't very friendly and pulls away when you try and pet her. She constantly paces around the house even after I walk her. She trys to climb on everything. She growls at my current dog and I can't trust her to be alone with him. I really want to work on this with her but don't know if it's too late because of her age.

my dog is a mixed breed and is now 11 months old. we have had him since he was 8 weeks and he was trained very quickly in to being a well behaved clean dog. but in the last 2 months his behaviour has gone backwards. he wont come when you call him which is the main problem as when he is in the garden it is hard to get him back inside the house, he jumps up all the time, and bites us when we try to leave the house with out him. it is really starting to get us down. any advice on how to get him back on track whilst his still young?

Dog Behavioural problem, need advice. Dog keeps getting into trash.?
We got a puppy (almost a dog now/ 1 year and 3 mos. old) and after about 3 months he began to get into the bathroom trash can and drag & shred trash all over the room. This is especially annoying because it is where my son's poopy diapers go and they end up being shredded (gross mess). Before he never did this but nothing has changed. Now the dog refuses to stop. We try scolding him, spanking (lightly of course) but nothing helps. He does it when he thinks we do not see but we catch him (sometimes). We put dirty diapers in usually at night when we have to get up with my 2 yr old and change him but the trash is emptied every day (or in an extreme case, the next). No matter what, he shreds the dirty diapers and everything else in the trash (but doesn't eat any). This is getting to the point where we have been considering getting rid of the dog because we cannot seem to stop it. How do we correct this behaviour? p.s. we tried puting the trash in a cabinet but he still got to it. we have trashcan with lid, gets in somehow, and we do close door most of the time but the kids tend to forget or he runs in there quick. Sprays we've tried and don't deter him the trashcan can only go on the floor or under a cabinet. he gets in it either way. we have cabinets along all walls of bathroom all the way up to the shower and door. dog plays all day with homschooled kids and has lots of toys. he is not lacking for attention or exercise. not sure why he does it. We have altered our routine to him and what we were told by a trainer but we are frustrated after no results for past several months of this. Please don't think us lazy or irresponsible we have spent months and hundred of dollars invested into making this work... sprays,moving can, training, reward system, distraction...etc We need advice not criticism.

Dog behavioural problems?
we have two dogs, a belgian shepherd and a labrador, the lab is just over a year old, the shepherd is nearly 2. They get on fine but recently have been giving us a few problems such as getting stuff off the kitchen sides at night and chewing it - any ideas on how to stop this? In addition, we have been putting the dogs outside for 10mins when they have been told off - i think it is as a result of this that the lab is now very reluctant to go outside, to the point whee he will wee in the doorway when the door is open - how do i stop this? just adding - he is quite happy to come out for walks - its just he won't go into the back garden i can get him out there if i go out with him but i am sure it is because he is worried about being locked out

Dog Behavioural problems?
I have rotty cross shar pai dog. He is 3 years old and has suddenly started to become awkward. He used to be really friendly and mixed really well with people and other animals, but over the last six months hes become really teritoral and protective of the house. He goes metal at the postman and passers by, and even at other dogs. When ever we go to the vets he has to wear a mussel because i never know hows hes going to react. Hes never shown out of control aggresion towards anyone, he barks and growls and snaps but has never really bit anyone, it more like warnings than intentional aggresion. He is reasonally well behaved as he listened to me quite well, im realy worked in case we are out and he has a funny turn with someone, he is a lovely dog and i adore him, but i am worried for his sake as well as other peoples and dogs. Is any of this normal, or am i right to worry? Can anyone please help?
